Energy Minister: We want to sell natural gas at high prices

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev- APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijanâ€™s Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev has held a press conference in Baku after the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation headed by President Ilham Aliyev to Bulgaria.
The Minister said that several important documents were signed during the visit.
According to him, a memorandum on cooperation signed between the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism of Bulgaria provides for many areas of cooperation, including the supply of compressed gas to Bulgaria, and the implementation of the Southern Corridor Project.
The Minister also noted that the memorandum contains articles about the cooperation between the two agencies in the non-oil sector as well.

According to him, Azerbaijan is ready to cooperate with the EU countries, not only in the framework of Southern Corridor and Nabucco, but in all directions.

Speaking about the issue of sales of Azeri gas to Turkey, Russia and Iran, Natig Aliyev said that the parties are in negotiations.
"Every country wants to sell its gas at a high price. We also want to sell our gas at a high price. All the neighbors try to buy gas at current prices but we intend to sell the gas at high prices,â€ he added.
