Structural changes made in Azerbaijani Presidential Administration

Changes made in the structure of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration have been made public.

On May 30, 2017, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on approval of the structure and the limit of the number of employees of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

According to the order, the structure of the Presidential Administration was reorganized with a staff of 410 people, and the Service of the Assistant to the President on Interethnic Relations, Multiculturalism and Religious Issues was established.

Upon the presidential order dated 9 January 2018, the Service of the Assistant to the President on Interethnic Relations, Multiculturalism and Religious Affairs Service was abolished, and the Department of Interethnic Relations, Multiculturalism and Religious Issues was established.

The Department of Interethnic Relations, Multiculturalism and Religious Issues includes six staff units, including the head of department.

The staff unit of the sector for personal affairs at the Department of Civil Service and Human Resources Issues was increased from 2 to 4. Thus, the number of employees of the Presidential Administration reached 412.

Earlier, Etibar Najafov was appointed as head of the Department of Interethnic Relations, Multiculturalism and Religious Issues.
