The Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan (ACSDA) has announced the results of its monitoring of the Azerbaijan presidential election on April 11.
Head of the ACSDA election headquarters Maharram Zulfugarli said that the organization monitored the election process with 4,000 observers, APA reports.
The observation was conducted in three stages and no serious violations were recorded, Zulfugarli noted.
"Some polling stations had minor technical failures, which did not affect the voting results," says Zulfugarli, stressing that the voting was democratic, transparent and fair.
The socio-political situation in the country was more stable and secure, he added.
Zulfugarli noted that the voter turnout in the election stood at 65-66 percent.
