"Role of Türkiye in the region is increasing," said Samad Seyidov, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), APA's bureau in Britain reports.
S. Seyidov has made a speech during the debate entitled "Implementation of obligations by Türkiye."
In his speech, Samad Seyidov has talked about the increasing role of Türkiye in the region. The MP has noted that people, who criticize Türkiye in the Assembly, have more problems in their own countries.
"A member of the Armenian delegation criticized Türkiye here. This country occupied the territories of Azerbaijan for more than 30 years and still continues to plant mines in the territories of Azerbaijan," he said in his speech.
