Rights defenders to meet PACE co-rapporteurs

Rights defenders will meet Andres Herkel and Yevgenia Jivkova, co-rapporteurs of Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on Azerbaijan, rights defender Saida Gojamanli told the APA
Ms.Gojamanli stated that rights defender Eldar Zeynalov will also participate bin the meeting to be held on February 4.She noted that they will discuss the issues on right of freedom assembly, state of freedom of speech, imprisoned journalists and ill prisoners with co-rapporteurs. Ms.Gojamanli added that co-rapporteurs will visit detention places in the framework of visit and noted that rights defenders have already sent their proposals to Andres Herkel on which detention places they will visit.
