Khazar Ibrahim: Eldar Guliyev has no relation with Azerbaijani diplomatic service since 2001

Former Azerbaijani representative in the UN Eldar Guliyev was officer of Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, The Washington Post newspaper reports quoting former Russian spy Sergei Tretyakov , APA reports
This fact and other intelligences were reflected in a special book. Eldar Guliyev was Azerbaijani permanent representative in the UN in 1994-2001.Tretyakov represented Russia in the UN.US intelligence determined that he was not diplomat, but officer of Russian intelligence.
Khazar Ibrahim commenting on the issue said that Eldar Guliyev has no relations with Azerbaijani diplomatic service since 2001.Asked whether employed citizens are controlled or not, Ibrahim noted that they are controlled when they are received to Foreign Ministry and sent abroad. /APA/
