Natig Mammadov said the exit poll held during the latest parliamentary elections and the results announced by the Central Election Commission coincided and therefore they will try to apply this system again.
As regards the changes in the rules of exit poll Natig Mammadov said:
“We can not concretely say there will not be changes, but we should think over the essence of exit poll. Who will organize it, who will appeal are the details,” he said.
Mr. Mammadov said that specialized groups are better to hold exit poll in this field.
“On the other hand, those bodies should be influential, sides should accept judgments given by them. There are such known bodies in the world that they confirmed themselves. Those bodies would better hold exit poll,” he said.
Mammadov noted that holding exit poll has no any connection with CEC and therefore there will not be appeal to CEC. If local organization applies it, there is no need to appeal to any body, it is necessary to appeal to relevant state bodies for foreign organization’s holding exit poll. CEC secretary said that there is no need to express opinion on exit poll to be held by any organization beforehand, as much time has left till presidential elections. Mammadov stressed that there was no appeal to CEC on the issue by now. /APA/
