Commemoration on 20 January tragedy held in Azerbaijani consulate general in Los-Angeles<font color=red>-PHOTOSESSION</font>

Elin Suleymanov, Azerbaijani consul general in Los-Angeles addressing the event appreciated 20 January tragedy as one of the bloody events in modern history of Azerbaijan. He noted that those who gave an order to kill innocent people stated that they intended to protect Soviet government, but Black January gave controversy effect.
Betty Blair, editor of Azerbaijan International Journal and photographer Rza who were witness of 20 January tragedy told their memories. Chingiz Ikram, representative of Pacifica organization compared the martyrs of 20 January with the victims of Chanaggala battle. Javid Huseynov, President of Azerbaijani council of America spoke about the reasons and results of the tragedy. Fuad Javadov, representative of Azerbaijani community of Los- Angeles sang plaintive song on 20 January tragedy. Way to Black January produced by Lider TV of Azerbaijan was demonstrated in the event.
