Talks on Azerbaijani-Russian borders’ delimitation start in Baku

The meeting will continue for 2 days. Khalaf Khalafov, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister stated that the relations of the two countries are developing successfully.
“Political dialogue activated. Relations on humanitarian, cultural, and other spheres are strengthening, increase tendency is observed in trade turnover,” he said. He said that more 95 % of border line of the two countries was coordinated.
“I hope that negotiations will be efficient and we will achieve an agreement,” he said.
Deputy Minister noted that delimitation issue was debated in the meeting held in Moscow by intergovernmental commission recently.
Aleksandr Yakovenko, Russian deputy Foreign Minister stated that delimitation process is continuing successfully.
“3 meetings of commission and 4 meetings of experts were held,” he said. Yakovenko also expressed his hope that agreement will be achieved during the negotiations in Baku./APA/
