Igdir municipality-published book on materials of international conferences on Khojaly genocide presented

The book â€œBlack day of Turks: Khojaly genocideâ€ published basing on the materials of the conferences held in Turkey and Europe was presented, APA reports. Parliamentarian Azay Guliyev said that Azerbaijan is carrying out relevant activities for informing the world community about Khojaly tragedy. He said Azerbaijanâ€™s friends abroad also give their support.
MP Malahat Hasanova underlined the necessity of publishing more books on this theme, in order to inform the future generations about the tragedies committed by Armenians in Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Former head of Khojaly executive power, MP Elman Mammadov underlined the necessity of taking important measures to inform Europe about the tragedy. Elman Mammadov also said the books should be translated into Russian and English.
â€œLaw-enforcement bodies should prepare documents basing on concrete facts, so that we can take them to the international organizations,â€ he said.
Azerbaijani Consul General to Kars Hasan Zeynalov spoke about the importance of informing the international community about Armeniansâ€™ savagery. He said there is a need to hold broader conferences in Europe.
Head of Igdir municipality Nureddin Aras said international conferences will be held on Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
â€œArmenians put â€œArmenian genocideâ€ claims in the agenda. We should involve foreign scientists in these events and hold such conferences in foreign countries,â€ he said.
The materials of the conferences on Khojaly genocide organized by Azerbaijani Consulate General in Kars and Igdir municipality in Igdir and The Hague in 2005-2006 were published in a book. The book was published by Igdir municipality. The visit of Igdir municipality head Nureddin Aras to Baku aims at attending the presentation ceremony of the book. /APA/
