Issue on Azerbaijan to be debated in 73rd plenary session of Venice Commission on December 15

The plenary session will end on December 15. Issue on amendments and changes to law on “Freedom of freely assembly” in Azerbaijan will be debated in the last day of plenary session to be held in Venice. Venice Commission wants to exchange views with Fuad Alasgarov, head of Presidential Office’s department for working with law-enforcement bodies and Chingiz Asgarov, representative of Azerbaijan in European Court of Human Rights regarding it. Judgments of representatives of Venice Commission Finola Flanagan, and Bogdan Lucian Aurescu on the law on “Freedom of freely assembly” in Azerbaijan will also be debated in the plenary meeting. Several issues concerning cooperation with PACE, Germany, Armenia, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova will be discussed in the first day of the meeting. Views will be exchanged on the issues regarding Serbia, Montenegro, Latin America, Afghanistan, Israel, Mexico, democratic control on Armed Forces in the last day of the meeting. /APA/
