NDIâ€™s regional director for Eurasia: We invited only five parties from Azerbaijan because of lack of funds

Only five political parties have been invited to the meeting in Poland because of lack of funds,â€ Laura Jewett, NDIâ€™s regional director for Eurasia, told APA Bureau in the United States.
She said more parties will be invited to the future events depending on the financial position.
According to her, some parties take more interest in cooperation while some donâ€™t in Azerbaijan as in some countries.
She said new Azerbaijan Party (YAP) is among the political parties showing interest in cooperation.
She noted that political parties themselves should take the initiative in the direction of cooperation.
Accusing it of engaging in some political partiesâ€™ propaganda in the pre-election period, some political parties in Azerbaijan said they will sue the National Democracy Institute. YAP, Musavat, AXCP, ADP and Umid Party have been invited to the event to be held in Poland on December 9-17. /APA/
