Arnold Schwarzenegger sends letter of gratitude to Azerbaijani leadership

â€œOn behalf of this great stateâ€™s elected leaders, firefighters, law enforcement professionals, charitable organization and hundreds of thousands of my fellow Californians, I am writing to offer my gratitude and admiration. Thank you to you and to the leaders of Azerbaijan for your offers of support as we made it through last monthâ€™s devastating wildfires,â€ the letter says.
â€œAs difficult and heartbreaking as the past few weeks have been, they would have been even more so without your kindness. For people who lost, or stood to lose, nearly all else, itâ€™s difficult to overestimate what it meant to know that they were in the thoughts of prayers of people around the world,â€ the letter writes.
Wildfires occurred in the south of California late in November caused $1bn. damage, 500,000 people were evacuated. /APA/
