Ganira Pashayeva to learn pre-election situation in Georgia in the composition of PACE mission

Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE) established mission for learning pre-election situation in Georgia, APAâ€™s Europe bureau reports.
Member of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, chairwoman of Azerbaijan-Georgia parliamentary friendship group Ganira Pashayeva is also among 7-member mission. Mission members will meet with Parliament speaker of Georgia, acting President Nino Burchanadze, representatives of international organizations, Georgian parliamentary delegation to PACE, chairman of Central Election Commission, opposition representatives of parliament, candidates for presidency, Prosecutor General, chairman of Supreme Court, media representatives, ambassadors to CE member states, Interior Minister, heads of Media Council, National Security Council and Constitutional Court, participate in roundtables devoted to elections in Georgia on December 4-8. Mission will hold press conference at the end of the visit. Estonian parliamentarian, co-rapporteur of PACE Monitoring Committee on Azerbaijan Andres Herkel is also among mission members. /APA/
