Azerbaijani Journalists Union of Georgia will hold picket outside Georgian Embassy in Azerbaijan protesting to the detention of Dashgin Gulmammadov, leader of National Assembly of Georgian Azerbaijanis, head of election headquarters of Fazil Aliyev, Azerbaijani candidate for presidential elections in Georgia on December 5, chief of Federation Niyazi Huseynov said, APA reports.
He said that they appealed to Baku Mayor’s Office regarding the picket today. The appeal says that protest action will be held at 17.00 and continue half an hour.
Huseynov noted that action will be held irrespective of the response of city leadership. They will demand release of Gulmammadov in the picket. /APA/
