“Azerbaijan and Venice Commission regularly negotiate on improving Election legislation. The negotiations were held in the past, continue and will be held in future,†chief of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov said, APA reports. He said that Azerbaijan gives its proposals to the Venice Commission during the debates.
“Relevant proposals were given during the recent debates. The proposals will be worked out, presented to parliament and debated there. Amending the Electoral Code won’t be solved overnight. It is in the parliament’s competence. That’s why, it will be raised and largely debated in the parliament,†he said. /APA/
