The case concerns the applicant’s complaints about the unfairness of the proceedings against him and inadequate medical treatment in prison. He relies on Article 3 (prohibition of inhuman or degrading treatment), Article 13 (right to an effective remedy) and Article 6 § 1 (right to a fair trial).
Humamtov was arrested after establishing so-called Republic of Talish-Mugan in Lenkeran in 1993.He was pardoned by the order of President in 2005 and deprived from civil rights and left the country. Hummatov is currently living in The Hague, Netherlands. /APA/
