Azerbaijan’s Foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov today addressed the meeting of the Baltic Assembly in Riga, the capital of Latvia. Azerbaijani embassy in Latvia told APA that Elmar Mammadyarov called on European Union countries to give up double standards with regard to Azerbaijan.
The minister said that Azerbaijan and European Union countries cooperate in energy security, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars projects. Touching on the “frozen conflicts†in GUAM, particularly on Nagorno Karabakh problem, the minister underlined the necessity of peaceful solution to the problems.
