I so got into the news that I remembered APAâ€™s birthday only when one of the correspondents congratulated me. To tell the truth, I was a little bit ashamed to forget this date. But â€¦ But I thought may be there is nothing strange that I forgot this date. I have almost forgotten my birthday, since I started working for APA. Reason â€¦ Only APA staff knows the reason. Those who do not work here, can not know how the efficiency, exactness and objectivity is important for us. Those who do not work here can not know that being unaware of the news, lagging behind in information struggle, missing information is so shameful here. Because those who are not toiling here do not know sometimes we are obliged to work for 12-14 hours a day and how strained we are physically and psychologically. There are so many becausesâ€¦ But I do not intend to enumerate all of them. It is not important for those who expect news from us. They need news and get it.
A lot of facts can be enumerated on what APA achieved in these three years. It was interesting for me to look back. But I have no time to spend time on itâ€¦ I decided to look through the first newsletter we issued three years ago. I did itâ€¦ Andâ€¦ The first newsletter, which was issued under the logo of APA three years ago on November 16, is a real filmstrip. Each frame of this filmstrip is so dear for meâ€¦ I saw our past, activities, struggle, truthâ€¦ in other words I saw myselfâ€¦ I was there and I took pride in ME for our pastâ€¦
I have forgotten APAâ€™s birthday, but my loyal friends did not forget it.
â€œBut donâ€™t you mark your holiday today? Are you working in your holidayâ€¦?â€, one of my friends said.
I said that we are workingâ€¦We have never rested in the holidays and we have always worked and continue it in our holidayâ€¦. Sometimes we complain of not having normal work time, normal rest, tension, tirednessâ€¦ But we realize that journalist, correspondent does not have normal working time. If there is news, accident or incident, it means that there is a work. This is REALITY and our all folks accept it without any objection.
The other think which is accepted in APA is RESPONSIBILITY. If there was not responsibility, we would not have succeeded. Various news agencies of the world, information portals, newspapers published in the country, all Azerbaijanis, whole world use news issued by APA. We perceive this responsibility and therefore won confidence, succeeded. APA is not only number 1 in Azerbaijan, but in the all Caucasus. APA is loyal to its slogan it advanced since functioning â€œWE ARE SHOULDERING A WORLD OF NEWS!â€â€¦.
