Poland to host conference on Caucasian problems

Conference on Caucasian problems will be held in Poland, APA’s Eastern Europe bureau reports. Conference “Joint existence of South Caucasian nations” will be held in Focal Press Center in Warsaw on November 24-25. Common House of Caucasus functioning in Poland is the organizer of the conference held in the framework of program “for cooperation of young leaders of local organizations in South Caucasus” financed by Polish Foreign Ministry. Cooperation among Caucasian nations, information policy, regional security, role of NGOs and other problems will be touched upon in the event. Public figures from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Poland, journalists, NGOs’ representatives will participate in the conference. Director of East European Studies Center in Poland Yan Malitski, head of Polonia TV Agneshka Romashevska, professor Tadeush Svyatokhovski (Columbia University), Arif Yunus (Peace and Democracy Institute), Rauf Mirgadirov (Zerkalo newspaper), Azad Isazada (Women’s Crisis Center), Nika Chitadze (International and Security Research Center in Georgia), Stepan Grigoryan (Analytical Center on Globalization and Regional Cooperation), Albert Voskanyan (Centre for Civil Initiatives), Lasha Tugushi (Rezonansi) newspaper and other were represented among them.
