Lachin Sultanova – APA. “The number of Azerbaijanis leaving for Moscow in search of a job reduces day-by-day,†head of Moscow representation of the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress Ilgar Hajiyev, who is visiting Baku, told APA. He attributed it to the new jobs created in Azerbaijan. Hajiyev said “single-window†system had been set up for labor migrants in Moscow.
“Our compatriots present all the documents, get permission to work, are registered and can stay and work in Moscow for three months basing on the documents. The rights of our compatriots illegally working in Moscow were often violated before the application of this system, legal assistance center was established under the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress. The number of people appealing to the center has reduced. The center used to receive about 50 appeals every day before, while now 5-10 people appeal to the center within a month,†he said.
