Vladimir Garkun: The number of the crimes recorded in CIS countries has reduced

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. 26,200 crimes were solved, 8200 people detained, the activity of 147 organized groups was prevented, 6500 firearms, over 8300 tones of narcotics were confiscated, 36 narco-laboratory, 54 illegal migration channels cancelled, 258 facts of human trafficking were found out as a result of the prophylactic measures taken in CIS area, first deputy executive secretary of CIS Vladimir Garkun said at the internet-conference, APA reports. He also said that according to the results of the previous year the number of the crimes recorded in CIS countries, as well as grave crimes, crimes against property and foreigners had reduced. He also said that criminogenic situation with regard to a number of dangerous crimes was still difficult.
