Tbilisi. Nizami Mammadzadeh- APA. Two opposition parties of Georgia held joint conference in Chess House, Tbilisi on Sunday. Leaders of the Conservative Party and Party for Unity of Georgia said at the conference that they would call for an armless struggle at the meeting scheduled to be held on April 9, 2009, APA Georgian bureau reports. The leader of conservatives said the government chose a new strategy, which led to the dialogue with the opposition. “This proposal insults us. We will not discuss it. It is not a time to nominate new candidate for the presidency while Mikhail Saakashvili is in his residency. Some parties nominated their candidates, but we will publicize their names after the Saakshvili’s resignation. We will name the most dignified candidate for this post and that person will be the president of Georgia”.
