Yushchenko sends envoy to Moscow to organize his meeting with Russian president

Moscow â€“APA. Under Secretary of Ukrainian president Andrey Goncharchuk paid unofficial visit to Moscow on Friday. He aimed to hold talks to organize meeting between Ukrainian and Russian presidents, who have not met since Dmitriy Medvedev took the office 10 months ago. The parts held talks during the gas row only in the level of prime ministers. Ukrainian diplomatic sources said Russian leader had no intention to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart, therefore they held talks in the level of prime ministers and their assistants. Spokesman for Ukrainian embassy in Russia Oleg Voloshin said he was hopeful for the meeting of both presidents. â€œMain problems between Kiev and Moscow relate to the political and defense issues. There is no problem in the economic fieldâ€.
