Kyrgyzstan’s parliament cancels agreement signed with members of anti-terror coalition

Bishkek – APA. Kyrgyzstan’s parliament canceled the agreement on Manas air base signed with 11 members of the U.S.-led anti-terror coalition. APA reports that these countries are Australia, Denmark, Italy, Spain, South Korea, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, Turkey and France. The countries signed agreement with Kyrgyzstan on the use of Manas air base in 2001. President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev had decreed to declare ineffective the agreement signed with Washington on Manas air base. Under the decree, American military contingent is to leave the territory of Kyrgyzstan within six months.
