Sergei Shoigu: â€œPeople denying victory of USSR in Great Patriotic War should be held accountableâ€

Baku. Lachin Sultanova-APA. Sergei Shoigu, Minister of Emergency Situations of Russia proposed that people denying victory of USSR in Great Patriotic War should be held accountable, APA reports quoting Russian mass media.
The Minister noted that there were people, who denied results of Great Patriotic War in post soviet region, merits and courage of soviet people.
â€œI consider that Russian Parliament should pass a decision on the fact that people, who refuse to recognize victory of USSR in Great Patriotic War, should be held accountable. Presidents of several countries, who deny victory of USSR, cannot visit Russia without punishment. Mayors of several cities will operate well before destroying monuments,â€ he said.
The Minister mentioned that Holocaust deniers were punished in several European countries.
