Five hospitalized as car runs into bus stop in Moscow

Five people were badly injured when a car ran into a bus stop in western Moscow on Tuesday morning, a police source said.
A Chevrolet Lanos hit several people at a pedestrian crossing and then ran into the bus stop before driving off, the source said. A number of other people received minor injuries.
"The majority of those injured are nearby Moscow State University students," the source said. "Five people were hospitalized, and others are receiving medical attention at the scene."
He said one of those hospitalized was a 56-year-old woman, a U.S. national.
Bystanders noted down the car’s license plate number and a search for the vehicle and the driver is underway.
