US stocks rise

Baku. Yegane Lachinzade – APA-Economics. The U.S. Dow Jones stock index increased 0.86% to 18,288.63, S&P 500 went up 0.61% to 2,117.39 points, while the NASDAQ soared 0.90% to 4,008.10 points.

In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index went down 0.09% to 6,940.64 points, French CAC-40 decreased 0.69% to 4,917.32, while Germany’s DAX grew 0.008% to 11,410.36.

In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index declined 0.20% to 18,790.13 points, Hang Seng raised 0.02% to 24,892.25, Shanghai fell 0.92% to 3,305.45.

At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price slid $0.30 to $1,207.90 an ounce, and silver price surged $0.06 to $16.51.
