In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index went up 0.94% to 6,804.08 points, French CAC-40 rose 1.01% to 5,061.16, Germany’s DAX raised 2.24% to 12,167.72.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index soared 1.17% to 19,471.12 points, Hang Seng increased 0.31% to 24,022.97, Shanghai advanced 1.16% to 3,489.47.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price climbed $1.10 to $1,154.30 an ounce, and silver price declined $0.05 to $15.57.
