In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index rose 0.54% to 6,809.50 points, French CAC-40 surged 0.57% to 5,062.22, and Germany’s DAX went up 0.29% to 12,001.38.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index raised 1.45% to 19,310.23 points, Hang Seng went up 0.41% to 25,186.10, Shanghai advanced 0.19% to 3,817.60.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price declined $4.00 to $1,204.20 an ounce, and silver price fell $0.11 to $16.95.
