In European markets, FTSE 100 index declined by 0.45% to 6,381.44 points, Germany’s DAX dropped by 0.14% to close at 10,435.73, and French CAC-40 fell by 0.20% to 4,582.83.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold prices went down by $0.20 to $1,250.10 an ounce, and silver price rose by $0.02 to $17.11.
