In European markets, FTSE 100 index ascended 0.82% to 7,052.13 points, French CAC-40 increased by 0.86% to 5,187.59, Germany’s DAX soared 1.74% to 11,891.91.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index raised 1.01% to 19,833.00 points, Hang Seng grew 2.08% to 27,658.82, Shanghai enhanced 1.38% to 4,584.51.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price surged $2.50 to $1,196.20 an ounce, and silver price downed $0.26 to $15.97.
