In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index went up 0.53% to 6,891.43 points, French CAC-40 soared 0.98% to 5,083.52, and Germany’s DAX rose 1,83% to 12,086.01.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index soared 0.22% to 19,453.49 points, Hang Seng went up 0.44% to 24,965.42, Shanghai advanced 0.11% to 3,790.81.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price fell $3 to $1,182.30 an ounce, and silver price shed $0.61 to $16.46.
