In European markets, FTSE 100 index ascended 0.15% to 7,062.93 points, French CAC-40 increased by 0.10% to 5,192.64, Germany’s DAX soared 0.40% to 11,939.58.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index raised 0.92% to 20,091.64 points, Hang Seng grew 0.26% to 27,923.12, Shanghai enhanced 1.75% to 4,699.86.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price fell $4.20 to $1,198.90 an ounce, and silver price downed $0.08 to $15.93.
