Most stocks in world market rise, gold goes down

Baku. Yegane Lachinzade – APA-Economics. The U.S. Dow Jones stock index went down 0.24% to close at 17,985.77 points, S&P 500 decreased by 0.11% to 2,097.45 points and NASDAQ rose 0.37% at 4,924.70 points.

In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index fell 0.13% to 6,888.90 points. French CAC-40 rose 0.71% to 4,833.28, Germany’s DAX soared 0.37% to 11,001.94.

In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index grew 0.32% to 18,324.04 points, Hang Seng increased by 0.19% at 24,832.08, Shanghai went up 0.76% to 3,246.91.

At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price descended $0.40 and stood at $1,207.20 an ounce, and silver advanced $0.06 to $16.45.
