Most stocks in world market rise, gold and silver go down

Baku. Yegane Lachinzade – APA-Economics. The U.S. Dow Jones stock index rose 1.14% to close at 17,361.04 points, S&P 500 increased 1.30% at 2,020.85 points and NASDAQ went up 0.89% at 4,676.69 points.

In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index surged 0.49% to 6,782.55 points. French CAC-40 rose 0.51% to 4,627.67, Germany’s DAX soared 1.25% to 10,828.01.

In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index fell 1.21% to close at 17,345.85 points, Hang Seng decreased 0.32% at 24,406.92, while Shanghai grew 0.42% to 3,141.40.

At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price descended $2.30 and stood at $1,274.60 an ounce, and silver shed $0.03 to $17.22.
