Most stocks in world market rise, gold and silver go down

Baku. Yegane Lachinzade – APA-Economics. The U.S. Dow Jones stock index has fallen by 0.15% to close at 17,613.68 points, while S&P 500 slipped 0.26% at 2,023.03 points and NASDAQ slid 0.07% at 4,661.50 points.

In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index surged 0.63% to 6,542.20 points. French CAC-40 rose 1.47% to 4,290.28, Germany’s DAX soared 1.63% to 9,991.00.

In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index has dropped 1.23% to close at 16,877 points, Hang Seng increased 0.23% at 24,271.10, while Shanghai grew 0.37% at 3,247.35.

At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price descended $4.70 and stood at $1,229.70 an ounce, and silver shed $0.27 to $16.89.
