In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index went up 0.67% to 6,873.52 points, French CAC-40 soared 0.70% to 4,759.36, Germany’s DAX grew 0.40% to 10,963.40.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index decreased by 0.37% to close at 17,913.36 points, Hang Seng went up 1.07% to 24,682.54, Shanghai rose 0.96% at 3,203.83.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price stood at $1,227.10 an ounce, and silver price rose $0.17 to $17.29.
