In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index went up 0.15% to 6,828.11 points, French CAC-40 soared 1.00% to 4,726.20, Germany’s DAX grew 1.56% to 10,919.65.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index decreased by 0.30% to close at 17,925.76 points, Hang Seng went up 1.11% to 24,692.60, Shanghai rose 1.86% at 3,233.43.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price surged $7.10 and stood at $1,227.80 an ounce, and silver price rose $0.17 to $16.97.
