In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index rose 0.53% to 6,832.83 points. French CAC-40 advanced 1.93% to 4,460.69, Germany’s DAX went up 2.05% to 10,649.58.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index has dropped 0.68% to close at 17,394 points, Hang Seng decreased 0.12% to 24,819.61, while Shanghai grew 0.12% at 3,355.85.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price surged $1.10 and stood at $1,293.70 an ounce, and silver soared $0.01 to $18.32.
