In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index fell 0.36% to 7,064.30 points, French CAC-40 increased by 0.26% to 5,254.12, Germany’s DAX dropped 0.29% to 12,338.73.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index slipped 0.08% to 19,889.22 points, Hang Seng decreased by 0.42% to 27,899.52, Shanghai advanced 0.96% to 4,161.42.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price rose by $0.70 to $1,200 an ounce, and silver price went down $0.01 to $16.28.
