In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index went down 0.21% to 6,935.38 points, French CAC-40 descended 0.09% to 4,882.22, while Germany’s DAX grew 0.04% to 11,210.27.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index increased by 0.88% to close at 18,748.94 points, Hang Seng surged 0.79% to 24,972.88, Shanghai rose 1.73% to 3,538.73.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price raised $6.70 to $1,208.20 an ounce, and silver price rose $0.143 to $16.62.
