Baku. Yegane Lachinzade – APA-Economics. The U.S. Dow Jones stock index fell by 1.65% to close at 17,387.21 points, S&P 500 slipped 1.34% to 2,029.55 points and NASDAQ dropped 1.89% to 4,681.50 points.
In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index slid 0.60% to 6,811.61 points. French CAC-40 shed 1.09% to 4,624.21, Germany’s DAX went down 1.57% to 10,628.58.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index grew 0.32% to close at 17,825.07 points, Hang Seng increased 0.47% to 24,924.20, while Shanghai slipped 0.14% at 3,348.16.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price sank $2.30 to $1,289.40 an ounce, and silver abated $0.10 to $17.98.
