In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index descended to 6,898.08 points, French CAC-40 surged 0.95% to 4,799.03, Germany’s DAX went up 0.60% to 10,961.00.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index grew 0.47% to 18,284.69 points, Hang Seng went up 0.19% to 24,832.08, Shanghai rose 0.76% at 3,246.91.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price surged $14.80 to $1,215 an ounce, and silver price advanced $0.34 to $16.61.
