In European markets, FTSE 100 index ascended 0.11% to 7,040.92 points, French CAC-40 decreased by 0.86% to 5,137.83, Germany’s DAX went down 1.79% to 11,677.57.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index raised 0.20% to 20,592.94 points, Shanghai advanced 0.12% to 4,626.00, Hang Seng grew 0.30% to 27,537.70.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price ascended $1.20 to $1,190.00 an ounce, and silver grew $0.07 to $16.74.
