In European markets, FTSE 100 index descended 0.80% to 6,804.60 points, French CAC-40 declined 1.33% to 4,920.74, Germany’s DAX went down 1.26% to 11,197.15.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index fell 0.03% to 20,454.87 points, Hang Seng went up 0.33% to 27,350.09, Shanghai floated 0.92% to 5,308.45.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price ascended $5.40 to $1.173.50 an ounce, and silver price upped $0.10 to $16.09.
