In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index went up 0.28% to 6,721.51 points, French CAC-40 grew 2.37% to 4,997.75, while Germany’s DAX surged 2.66% to 11,805.99.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index raised 1.26% to 18,959.41 points, Hang Seng soared 0.43% to 23,819.59, Shanghai climbed 1.43% to 3,575.14.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price surged $1.20 to $1,151.80 an ounce, and silver price advanced $0.07 to $15.43.
