In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index went up 0.59% to 6,761.07 points, French CAC-40 dropped 0.21% to 4,987.33, Germany’s DAX fell 0.06% to 11,799.39.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index soared 1.44% to 19,263.67 points, Hang Seng increased 0.32% to 23,873.57, Shanghai advanced 0.52% to 3,366.57.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price climbed $6.60 to $1,158.50 an ounce, and silver price soared $0.10 to $15.62.
