In European markets, FTSE 100 index descended 0.53% to 6,753.80 points, French CAC-40 declined 0.15% to 4,850.22, Germany’s DAX went down 0.58% to 11,001.29.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index grew 0.70% to 20,236.38 points, Hang Seng went up 0.22% to 27,047.89, Shanghai slid 0.45% to 5,331.72.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price descended $1.90 to $1.175.70 an ounce, and silver was sold for $15.96.
