Azerbaijani Parliament approves joint declaration signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey

The declaration was signed between the two countries on November 6, 2007. MP Igbal Agazadeh addressing the meeting stated that recognition of PKK as terrorist organization is not reflected in the document. MP noted that parliament should recognize PKK as terrorist organization and noted that Azerbaijan always suffers from terrorism.
â€œPKK targeted Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. I think that, we should appeal to Georgian parliament for the recognition of PKK as terrorist organization. We should struggle against this terrorist organization together. Why do not we recognize PKK as terrorist organization?,â€ he said.
Agazadeh compared Armenian President with PKK leader and noted that both of them are terrorists. MP Mubariz, Gurbanli stated that declaration has been prepared bilaterally. He added that Azerbaijan recognizes PKK as terrorist organization and always supports Turkey. The declaration was brought to a vote and asserted. /APA/
